Riomaggio, Cinque Terra, Italy - 24 September 2007

The coastline of the Cinque Terra...

Riomaggio is the first of village in the Cinque Terra that we visited. It is the most southern village. The Cinque Terra (Five Villages) and surrounding land area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The villages can be reached by train, boat or on foot.

Riomaggio dates back to the early thirteenth century... there is lots of information on the Cinque Terra online...
